THUMP UP THE VOLUME!
Time to thump up the volume on some numbers this Wednesday, December 11th at the Khun Thai Restaurant Lounge. Some added upbeat Blues & R&R tunes are the dish of the day and with the addition of my little pink shrilling lady, seen right here…whatta sound she puts out onstage. And strolling in the audience, too!
Naturally there will be folk and country pickin,’ too. We’ll go up, we’ll go down, we’ll go all around town with the sound of good music.
Join me for songs by such artistes as Fats Domino, Rick Nelson, Dion, Sam Cooke, Buster Brown, Norman Greenbaum, Thin Lizzy…plus Little Feat, Paul McCartney, Merle Haggard, Jimmie Rodgers, Willie Nelson, John Prine, Gordon Lightfoot Merle Haggard and quite a few others!
Rock ’n Roll is here to stay…but so is folk, blues, country, classical, jazz, latin, zydecko…well you name the musical vault of wealth we have!
Got a favorite artist? Ask me a question about any music luminaries from the 50's to the 90's. I'm likely to have met most musicians, more likely to have a story and might even know a song - but chances are very good that I'll have met your favorite players and will have something to say about whomever that may be.
