100 Volunteer Projects for 100 Years! Celebrate Oregon State Parks Centennial and participate in the legacy of service that has sustained the state parks system for a century.
This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, volunteer alongside park rangers and help create a better wildlife corridor for deer, foxes, and other animals that live in and around the park. The primary task is to clear out vegetation and limbs around a fence that surrounds the Harris Beach Campground, allowing rangers to cut out a barbed wire barrier. By accomplishing these tasks, volunteers will support wildlife to move freely and safely in the area.
Service will be on gravel and natural surfaces that are uneven. Tools and equipment will be provided. Volunteers must be able to use simple hand tools, and have the ability to travel on uneven trail surfaces.
Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age to participate.
