We have an awesome lineup with eight artists that promises something for nearly every music fan. There are some exciting new artists, plus the return of fan favorites from years past. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to Azalea Park’s amphitheater and enjoy quality live music!
• June 22 (Wednesday): We kick things off with a special Wednesday 6 p.m. evening concert featuring Beat Frequency. The Vancouver party band is known for its original songs and fantastic covers of classic and modern pop, rock and R&B songs.
After that, the remaining concerts all start at 1 p.m. on various Sundays through Labor Day Weekend.
• June 26: the Portland-based tribute band Grand Illusion celebrates the classic rock sounds of Styx.
• July 10: The return of fan-favorite Beatles tribute band Abbey Road Live.
• July 17: An encore performance by the Rock Bottom Boys, a talented trio that tickles funny bones with their hillbilly versions of rock hits and originals.
• Aug. 7: Celebrate the 80s with Blonde Ambition, a Los Angeles tribute to pop goddess Madonna.
• Aug. 14: A.J. Lee and Blue Summit are rocketing up the charts with their mix of Americana and indie bluegrass music performed by some of the most promising young musicians on the scene.
• Aug. 21: Bay Area’s Gator Nation Band returns with its toe-tapping, get-up-and-dance boogie of Cajun and zydeco music.
• Sept. 4: McKayla Marie and her crack four-piece band perform a variety of country songs — from the classics to the latest hits.
Don't miss all the great bands this summer. Check back often for information and videos of each band. Share our posts and help us draw the biggest crowds ever at Azalea Park this summer.
See you at the park!
